Fabio Zarra
Sports Psychologist
Psychologist regularly registered with the Order of Psychologists, with over ten years of experience in the professional sports context, particularly in football. I have worked extensively with Cagliari Calcio, focusing on psychological assessments and mental training for athletes, both in the youth sector and the first team. In this role, I played a strategic role in managing relational and educational dynamics, actively contributing to the athletes' sporting and personal growth. I also provided training for coaches and parents and took on the role of Head of the Boarding House for young footballers.
My professional journey has been enriched through collaborations with educational, clinical, and training institutions, which have allowed me to develop interdisciplinary skills in the fields of educational psychology, occupational psychology, and child neuropsychiatry. I have also been a speaker at numerous national conferences dedicated to psychological well-being and performance in sports.
I am the author of the book Ironicamente Sportivə a text that combines psychological insights and humor to depict the world of sports with a critical, light-hearted, and deeply human perspective.
I promote an integrated approach to sports psychology, based on the balance between mental preparation, emotional support, and personal development, with the aim of guiding each athlete towards their fullest expression, both on and off the field.

Virginia Marino
Clinical Psychologist and Lecturer
Clinical psychologist with a solid humanistic background, for over ten years I have been working in the field of Sports Psychology, supporting athletes, coaches, and staff in managing the emotional, relational, and motivational dynamics tied to performance. My work focuses on enhancing individual resources, regulating stress, and building a winning mindset that can support the athlete both during peak moments and in times of crisis.
I have collaborated with professional teams and sports centers, designing customized interventions in mental training, autogenic training, and sport-applied mindfulness. I firmly believe that psychological well-being is the first ally of performance, and that emotional awareness is one of the key factors in athletic and personal growth.
Alongside the sports field, I also teach Humanities and literary subjects, bringing my psychological experience to educational relationships. I integrate my skills to offer students a learning approach that combines disciplinary content, active listening, and the development of life skills.
Inspired by an integrated vision of the human being, I promote a person-centered intervention model that combines scientific rigor, empathy, and authentic dialogue. Supporting athletes and students in recognizing and addressing their emotions is, for me, not just a professional skill, but a mission.
